User Safety Disclaimers

1. Purpose

This document sets out important safety information and legal disclaimers for users of Saha, applicable across both Dating and Matrimony modes. It is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.

2. Verification Has Limits

Saha uses face-liveness verification for all users and offers optional government ID verification via Persona. These measures are designed to reduce impersonation, bot accounts, and catfishing. They are not a criminal background check, credit check, marital-status verification, or character reference, and they cannot detect every form of misrepresentation (e.g., false claims about occupation, income, family status, or intentions).

3. You Are Responsible for Your Own Safety Decisions

• Independently verify anything material to you before meeting in person or making financial or relationship commitments -- including, where appropriate, your own background check, video call before meeting, and confirmation of identity/employment claims.
• Meet new people in public places, tell a friend or family member where you're going, and arrange your own transportation for early meetings.
• Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial account information to someone you have not met in person and independently verified -- this is the hallmark of a romance scam.
• Report suspicious behavior (requests for money, refusal to video call, inconsistent stories, pressure to move off-platform quickly) using the in-app Report feature.

4. Matrimony-Specific Considerations

• Family or Representative involvement in Matrimony Mode does not substitute for the account holder's own independent verification of the other party.
• Company does not verify dowry-related claims, family financial representations, horoscope compatibility claims, or immigration/visa status claims made in a profile or conversation.
• Cross-border matrimony discussions may implicate U.S. or foreign immigration law (e.g., fianc�/spousal visas); Company does not provide immigration advice and recommends consulting a licensed immigration attorney before relying on any marriage-based visa plan.

5. Reporting and Blocking

Every profile and conversation includes Report and Block controls. Reports of harassment, threats, solicitation, underage users, or suspected fraud are reviewed on a priority basis. Company may suspend an account pending investigation of a safety report without prior notice to the reported user, consistent with the Terms of Service.

6. Emergency Situations

If you are in immediate danger, contact 911 (or your local emergency number) first. Saha's in-app safety tools are not a substitute for emergency services and are not monitored in real time as a crisis-response channel.

7. No Guarantee of Outcome

SAHA DOES NOT GUARANTEE COMPATIBILITY, RELATIONSHIP SUCCESS, MARRIAGE, OR THE ACCURACY OF ANY USER'S SELF-REPORTED INFORMATION BEYOND WHAT IS EXPRESSLY VERIFIED AND BADGED (E.G., "FACE-VERIFIED" OR "ID-VERIFIED"). USERS ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, INCLUDING IN-PERSON MEETINGS.

8. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Company will cooperate with law enforcement investigations involving user safety, subject to valid legal process, and may proactively report imminent threats to safety or suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities.
